I'm sorry but all you Kerry supporters here just don't get it. A Mass.liberal just can't be elected President. Teddy couldn't. He couldn't be elected to office anywhere but Mass. Mr Mass Miracle himself the first cousin of an Academy award winner (no,not Sean Penn) Mike Dukaka couldn't. The brand of elitism/liberalism practiced in Mass doesn't fare well in the rest of the country. Its perceived as the govt knowing whats best for the people as opposed to what the people feel is best for the peolpe.

The only way you can erase this mark is if few realize Kerry is from Mass. And with the Demo convention being in Baaarston, there is little chance of that. It would have been better for the convention to have been in San Diego. Or you could possibly wrap Kerry in the cloak of his VP candidate, hopefully they will be smart enough to not choose another Senator from the NoEast, one from NY in particular comes to mind.

Bush is perceived as a man standing on principal. Kerry as a very liberal Senator from Mass. Everywhere but the northeast and in the liberal press ///////.
