The jobless aren't of any concern to Bush, he always glosses over them. He has a job, has always been given a job and a bank account and several legs up. He doesn't have a clue as he has never had to have a clue.

Can you imagine what he would be doing now if he had been born the same person but in a middle class family? I think he'd make a decent high school girls cheerleading coach.

<<<I say raise taxes on these corporations and get our budget balanced>>>

No offense, but I think you've bought into the Democrat's propaganda. Raising taxes is always the wrong answer. Reducing spending by cutting out the pork is the only hope we'll ever have to keep more than half of our incomes. Once every four years, Americans have someone to vote against. On this round it happens to be Bush. Unfortunately, the only way to vote against Bush is to vote for Kerry.

<<<and start to provide some basic services like healthcare for all americans>>>

This was something Saddam Hussein was able to achieve by nationalizing most basic services. In America, the goal of politicians is to privatize all services that have become necessary to basic survival. Energy and utilities, health care, pensions, whatever. The money goes into corporations run like Enron, and the money vanishes into the pockets of the special interests. Any time over sight should be mandatory, a new pork barrel committee is set up to share the wealth, and write legislation to make it easier to steal.

A grass roots campaign to end corruption, in those states which allow referendum measures to be put forth by citizens, is about the only place you are ever likely to see even a hint of change. While I fully sympathize with your desire to see a white knight Democrat save us from the evil Republicans, the sad fact of the matter is it's about like changing seats on the Titanic. It's true that somebody needs to do something, but that somebody is you and me, and every person who has an interest in saving themselves from tyranny.

Wishful thinking is not the answer.
