Kerry's 9/11 Deceptions Justin Darr March 5, 2004 This just in! Kerry strategists inform the Senator that he will need to be more than Senator Teddy Kennedy's rude little "boy toy" to get elected president. Worse yet, he may actually have to answer questions about his ultra liberal voting record, be held accountable for his decades long history of policy flip flops, and actually talk about what he would do as president. Mr. Kerry is soon to find out that while preaching anti-American self hatred and neurotic knuckle biting about the fact that the French still do not like us may carry a candidate to victory in the Liberal activist dominated Democrat Primaries, they will earn nothing but ridicule in a general election. There is only one way Kerry can even attempt not to follow in the footsteps of his former political partner, Mike Dukakis. He must control the campaign debate to deceive the American people into not noticing his many political albatrosses, the biggest of these being his role in making America vulnerable to the 9/11 attacks and his attempts to ignore its impact on our Nation. Why? Because Kerry knows what every American knows deep down within themselves. If Kerry, Al Gore, Howard Dean, or any other contemporary Liberal politician had been president in 2001, America would have responded to the terrorist attacks on 9/11 with weakness and fear rather than strength. Sound ridiculous? However, upon examination, Kerry's stands in regard to the United Nations, his resistance to the War on Terror, his opposition to fund the reconstruction of Iraq, and his promise to spend the first 100 days of his Administration traveling the world apologizing to the Axis of Evil for Bush's foreign policy indicate a man who is in complete denial that 9/11 ever occurred. Either that or he is a Leftist anti-American idiot trying to cover up his long history of being hostile to our nation defending itself. You be the judge. For months John Kerry has been dancing on the edge of a sword claiming that President Bush lied to the American people about Iraqi weapons of mass destruction in order to start a war for his own political benefit. The fact is that if 9/11 had not happened, Bush would not have invaded Iraq. Kerry would like us to think that Bush just woke up one day and said, "You know what, Laura. Sure would like to invade some country for no reason. That will teach the White House staff from over cooking my eggs!" What Kerry fails to say in his speeches is that Bush was unknowingly acting on flawed intelligence that stated that Saddam had W.M.D. and was prepared to use them. In light of Saddam's history of doing anything so long as it killed a lot of people, and the fact that terrorists were flying planes into buildings in America, Bush could not take the chance of playing it safe and waiting to see if Iraq would act first and give anthrax to terrorists. If anyone is to blame for the Invasion of Iraq it is Saddam Hussein, who in pressing his braggadocio habit of sticking his finger in America's eye got it chopped off. It is easy for Kerry to sit back and contradict himself saying that Iraq was never a threat to America. After all, now that Iraq is free, we know they will not support terrorist attacks on America in the future (so Kerry can never be wrong!) But in light of 9/11, the only way a president could take the risk of allowing a mad man like Hussein to stay in power with even the possibility of W.M.D. would mean he was willing to risk sacrificing another few thousand innocent American civilians on their way to work in order to keep a bunch of Third World autocrats "respecting" us. Bush does not see that as an option. Evidently, Kerry does. Even Bill Clinton admits that he had the same intelligence data as Bush about Iraq and Kerry himself stated that he thought Saddam had these weapons. However, John never calls himself or Clinton a liar. But the bigger issue (and the one Kerry wants to hide from us) is why was this intelligence flawed? The answer is because Kerry and his other Socialist cohorts systematically eviscerated the American intelligence apparatus during the Clinton Administration. Kerry backed one intelligence cut after another, supported the "Torricelli Amendment" requiring that all American intelligence sources be properly "warm and fuzzy" and not the traditional brand of informant who is the type of person who would dime out his friends for money. In the end, we got what we paid for: second rate intelligence. Kerry wanted American intelligence run on an inadequate budget under minatory rules that prevented our personnel from doing their jobs and he got his wish. Now he will do anything to keep these facts from the voters. As President Bush rolls out positive campaign ads demonstrating his leadership of America through its toughest years since World War II, one thing will become abundantly clear to all Americans: Kerry's Leftist propaganda machine will do anything to stop the truth from getting out. This is why they are having a conniption over 9/11 images being used in Bush ads. It is not that they care about "offending the families" of the victims (the Liberals only care about the victims of 9/11 as far as they can manipulate them to support their Agenda). They just do not want the voters reminded about why the War on Terror began and President Bush's greatest successes in defending our nation. What else can Kerry do? Tell the truth? "Yes, my fellow Americans, elect me and I will grovel at the feet of a bunch of erstwhile colonial empires in the U.N. begging for the "right" to defend New York City from foreign attacks. And, I will continue to cut military spending so we no longer have the strength to stop groups of savages who proudly aspire to kill every American in the world unless we convert to Islam. And I am proud of the fact that I am going to raise your taxes! Plus, I find it very amusing that you do not notice that I am dodging the gay marriage issue until the time I am elected when I will surely cave in to this special interest group just as I have caved to every other Leftist special interest in the past who donated money to my campaign."
