I didn't ask you whether other people did it.

I asked you whether you think it's honest to do it.

One vote this year. Big whoop. How many committee meetings has he made? How many floor debates? Surely you won't argue, will you, that the Senate could run if the majority of its members only participated to the level Kerry is?

Are you going to argue that he is carrying his full weight as a Senator? If not, he is taking all the money, and not doing the job.

Again, I didn't ask you whether you thought that was a pattern from the past. That's my argument -- that this is who and what politicans are and to expect honesty from them is silly.

But you're the one who's claiming that Kerry is the honest politican. So it's fair for you to come right out and say whether you think taking the taxpayers money for doing the job of being a senator, but not doing it, is honest. He can't argue that he needs the money. So why doesn't he give up his salary, except for the times he's actually doing senatorial duties? Isn't that the honest thing to do to benefit the American taxpayers?

You ducked that question the first and second times. Are you going to duck it again?
