The first step, of twelve, to wean you off Bush is to realize that you made a mistake by supporting him in the first place. That same mindset within the administration is the primary cause of the policy disasters and strategic blunders. There has been no growth with experience. The theoretical framework that the neocons entered the white house with is intact, not becaue it worked, it obviously has not, but because it was build on such a delicate intertwining of rationalisations that no learning can be accomplished without the whole twisted paradigm crashing down.
