Elections would be better than these ill events

Looters targeted an industrial park near Port-au-Prince airport threatening passing motorists and journalists with machetes in new unrest one day after six people were killed during an opposition rally to mark Aristide's departure.

US forces admitted they killed one of the victims who they said was a gunmen who had opened fire on them. Thirty four more people were also wounded.

There was little sign of the multi-national force on the main road to the airport Monday as looters threatened passing cars with machetes.

The events in Haiti are a tragedy for the people of Haiti. The danger and tragedy for Americans is that the administration is once again lieing while getting Americans into harm's way. If this had been a good idea then they wouldn't have had to have Powell out telling whoppers again.
