Bill, Did you see rudy on russert? I think kerry will choose either evan bayh or hillary for veep. I like cheney alot but he, rummy, ashcraft and a host of others are the same old white guy. If it is close, cheney can cost bush the election. Giuliani may be many things but he aint the same old white guy. He was absolutely great on russert--far more polished than his mayor days. And with a sense of humor that is already noticeably missing from this contest. Cheney doesnt feel well. Rudy should replace him. And republicans should realize that those social/religious issues do NOT have to be the core of a presidential campaign. Wouldnt it be great to have a pres nominee and a veep nominee that disagreed on the gay marriage amendemnt. This is what america wants--Honesty. Ann Corrigan said we needed truman and i agree. But truman is not running and the closest we get to him is rudy. Mike

Actually the Afghanistan campaign produced very little protest, the world was pretty unified on that one. Bush did not vigorously pursue the Afghanistan campaign. Recently the admin. said they would pursue Osama 24/7 thanks to improving weather. What were they doing before, pursuing him in their free time? And what's with the weather comment? Is their policy "If you attack us we will nail your ass, providing that the weather is favorable? Osama is alive and well, as are his sons. Saddam is in custody, and his sons are dead. Those results make no sense.
