I don't know of any other manager like him. Actually I think it was you who turned me on to him and I thank you for that and the updates you post from his site.

Hussman is one of my 6 market prognosticators. I'll begin to take significant short positions on the U.S. markets when 2 of the 6 give signals to do so, building positions when/if additional prognosticators go that way, for a maximum bearish position when all 6 are bearish. Hussman isn't currently bearish. Neither are Lowry's, Ned Davis Research, Dan Sullivan, or James Stack. I count Richard Russell as favoring the short side, even though he doesn't advise actually shorting stocks. So it's still 5 to 1 on the long side, on my interpretations.
