Then you don't follow history.

Have a look at the archives of almost any newspaper from 1980.

Or from 1962.

Or from 1946.

You'll find there are precedents.

All you have to do is look.

I don't know of a time in recent history when some of the upper class have spoken out against tax cuts that favor them. There should be more........we are one nation, indivisible......what's good for some should be good for all!

I would submit that there's been a cacophony of such remarks since bush's tax cuts. Soros, Buffett, and many wealthy liberals in the nation have made public mention. The unfairness of bush's cuts are boldly underscored by such commentary from one segment of society. If that was your point, then i completely agree.
