That poll was reported in usatoday.com , with full results at usatoday.com . The headline on the first one is a little off, W did actually make a comeback of sorts, he was down 10 points a couple weeks earlier.

High gas prices can be blamed on Bush-Cheney. After all in 2000 they promised to use their knowledge and clout in the oil business to keep a lid on prices. They've done just the opposite. These gas prices will also bring inflation and hurt economic growth.
