A neutral source would have use the phrase "pointed out" instead of "accused". Accused makes it sound like the fact is in dispute.

President Bush is accusing John Kerry of having proposed big cuts in intelligence spending just two years after the first attack on the World Trade Center

Meanwhile, down here in my neck of the woods its De ja Vu all over again. Today, in Hollywood, Fla. Kerry is telling our citizens, mainly retirees as younger are out working, that Bush is after THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY and wants to privatize it. Kerry said if he is elected president he will never do that. Wonder why he LEFT OUT the part that NO ONES SS will be privatized if already retired or indeed if over a certain age (probably around 40) and finally that the entire plan was VOLUNTARY. It just AMAZES me that the Democraps can bring out this same story EVERY FOUR YEARS and keep a straight face. jdn

The intelligence alerted Bush to the possibility of an attack by hijacking aircraft but he just sat on the information.
