I saw those devices at the museum of torture in San Gimignano, Italy a few years ago. They're the stuff of everlasting nightmares.

Speaking of nightmares, I'm expecting there to be press on the nightmares and other symptoms of trauma experienced by children who are taken by their parents to see the Gibson film. Remember the hue and cry be NYC-area parents a couple of years ago, begging for the networks to stop showing footage of the falling towers?
