The thing about the blue states is that's where all the people live, that's where all the GDP and tax revenue come from. And that's where the best universities are. California and New York account for 22% of national GDP by themselves.

And as you've pointed out the blue states pay more in federal taxes than they receive in benefits. That means the red states are collecting welfare from the blue states. All and all a pretty sweet deal, collecting welfare while hating the guy whose money you're taking for being a socialist.

Meanwhile there's more hypocrisy, it's JDN who's looting the treasury to the tune of $530 billion with his beloved Medicare prescription drug benefit that someone else will pay for but he thinks he deserves for some reason. It's the Republicans stealing about $500 billion per year from the treasury.

They're desperate, abandoning the "uniter not a divider" routine for the Reagan blame it on the "welfare queens" strategy.

So far nothing's working for them. We'll see how this lie works out.
