Your lucky in a way. Here in Fla its all limestone. Water easily available, but when I looked into having a well drilled on my property over in Naples was told shallow well (10 feet or so) resulted in SULFUR water, deep well (35 feet or so) resulted in IRON water. Thus, everyone here with a well MUST have a big filter, most have those kind you put rock salt? in or something like that. If and when I ever move there I plan to have not only that filter but the reverse/osmosis system for our drinking water. PAIN in the butt, maybe we will have city water by then? jdn
