The problem is Bush and the RepubliCONS are spending money in the wrong places. Spending $87 Billion on Iraq and only $5 Billion on New York is not sound financial policy. It would be best for America to spend that money right here at home where it can do some good for the average American. Of course, that's not a message the RepubliCONS and their millionare friends want to send to the American people. They want the American people focused on rebuilding Iraq, not New York. Spending money here at home would empower too many people and might actually get them inolved in the political process, certainly an outcome the wealthy elites don't want.

Bush reneged on his promise to NYC to the tune of 16 billion after they suffered more than 50 billion damage. And now he wants to go there for his convention and do photo ops at Ground Zero? LOL That convention could turn into a disaster for Bush.
