I'm having trouble figuring the weak dollar.

My initial reaction was that it's inflationary and would lead to foreign investors leaving our markets and would therefore be a negative for the market.

But it seems the market prefers the weak dollar: corporate profits up, trade deficits down, and an implied weakness in the US economy which would keep rate hikes further down the road.
