That was an excellent commentary on outsourcing. Here is another very good analysis: Message 19854597 Quoting: That's why the Nelson Report, a strongly free-trade newsletter on international affairs, recently had kind words for John Kerry. It suggested that he is basically a free trader who understands that "without some kind of political safety valve, Congress may yet be stampeded into protectionism, which benefits no one." Bush is the real protectionist, but he is protecting profits, not jobs. Kerry is more of a free trader, but Kerry wants the appropriate programs for displaced workers (that Bush ignores). It is ironic that people perceive Bush as "free trade" and Kerry as "protectionist". Oh well ...
