Brumar, the war did not start overseas. During the Clinton years, the measures he took, kept them offshore. We don't rule the world. There are attacks even going on in Iraq where our troops are. So attacks overseas is a sign that they cannot attack here on US soil.

However once Bush came to office, within nine months he provided the terrorists with a opening. And they struck. With terrorism you have to keep one step ahead of them. Or else we have 9/11 to deal with.
