Oh, really? How 'bout you provide a list of public figures whom you find "sacrosanct" that SI or other Internet sites should "ban" for "adoption."

I find no "hillary clinton" aliases here, for example.

Should such aliases be "BANNED," do you think?

Out of humble "respect" for the politicians who are stealing us blind?

Hello rrufff,

So should I be allowed to take the name "John Kerrry" and then go on to rant and rave like a lunatic?

I see nothing to prevent you from doing so, as long as it is perfectly clear to everyone that you are engaging in a parody of the man rather than trying to convince everyone that you are indeed the real McCoy.

However, I sense that you are not among Mr. Kerry's supporters, so I would remind you of this old adage. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Would your parody of Mr. Kerry truly be intended to flatter the candidate?

KJC

it seems to me that there should be a rule against taking an "alias" or nome de plume of the first lady.

Is my name also a TOU violation in your book?
