Do you intend to allow certain, particular posters to establish threads that are moderated specifically to ridicule others? The thread established by Lazarus Long thread is OFFENSIVE. other than as a daily source of the type of "harassment" that seems to be the focus of your complaint. There is nothing that can compare with right wing extremist harrassment on SI. Pointing out the holes in this economy, the negative stock performance and other poor prognostications made by conservative economists seems to rile this group. THey are out of control, completely. They can't just put people they don't agree with on ignore. I came here to post to someone else, and I see all these wingers from the political threads delighting in your discussions with laura. Have you ever seen Laura or for that matter me or other non extremists follow a poster around to harrass them? I haven't. I think some of these RWEs need psycological help. The root of the problem is the economy under conservative leadership. They are angry and lashing out in a sort of "messenger shoot" exercise.
