"The ship passed through the Suez Canal bound for Libya, it was stopped by German and Italian authorities. They found several containers, each 40 feet in length listed on the ships manifest as full of used machines," Bush said. "In fact these containers were filled with sophisticated centrifuges."

What are German and Italian authorities doing here. It is the IAEA and the European nations of the world who were involved all along with the US and the UK busy with Iraq.

...excerpts of an interview

DAVID FROST: And why, why do you think that in terms of his policies and the fact that he went on without being rumbled for so long. Why was he unearthed now? Why was he suddenly named now? Was it because the Americans insisted on it?

BENAZIR BHUTTO: No, no, no. My sources say it was an intelligence coup that a Pakistani scientist defected six months ago and he gave certain information which led to the interception of a ship to Libya which contained parts for a nuclear programme. And that that ship was the concrete evidence that was needed to back up the satellite photos and the suspicion that was earlier on that KLadir Khan along with others was exporting nuclear technology.

The foreign press has it all over in snippets and everything points toward Europe and India unearthing it and the US and UK wrongly taking credit for it and what is worse is that the Bushies are saying that it Gadaffi buckled under military threat.

Brumar, google it yourself. Don't rely on Bush spin doctors. I thought you would have learnt your lessons by now with the WMD fiasco.
