I don't see how you think destroying Social Security is going to make Bush's friends richer. That's a new one on me. Who do you figure will get richer from that, and how?

Any large scale economic disruption favors those with the resources to weather it, and buy out assets at the bottom.
A lot of property will change hands when the boomers can no longer afford the retirement they expected.
