16:06 TQNT TriQuint Semi increases Q1 outlook (8.12 -0.27)

Co now expects Q1 (Mar) revenue of $85-$87 mln and a loss per share of $(0.02)-$(0.01) vs consensus of $82.6 mln and $(0.02). Co says its shipments and bookings have been very strong so far this quarter. End market demand remains robust in most all of its markets.

16:02 DIGL Digital Lightwave inks deal with Telecom Italia (2.04 -0.16)

Co announces that Telecom Italia has selected DIGL's Network Information Computer for their Optical Transport Network deployment and testing. This announcement marks the first major int'l carrier that has standardized on DIGL's O.T.N. product. Terms were not disclosed.

[Harry: Possible thawing in the optical network spending. DIGL makes testing equipment fort he optical newtwork, mostly towards the core. Time to start looking at CIEN again.]
