good to see peak oil is making it into prime time media a bit. i think this is the primary reason the world as we know it could eventually fall apart, even if it isn't ended by wars or bio- or eco-catastrophes.

very consistent story with Shell Oil annouced 20% decline in reserves

what the article totally overlooks is the vast exaggerations on OPEC existing oil reserves
I believe OPEC has 50% less oil than publicly stated
the more Iran or Libya or Nigeria lies about reserves, the more they are permitted to raise production levels, and benefit from income
