The U.S. is the perfect propagandized society, because people are under the illusion that we have a free press, free elections, a republican form of Democracy. People are so propagandized that they believe the "liberal media" lie without question, despite the fact that the "liberal media" is just as much a part of the establishment as anything else and is owned by some very wealthy and conservative interests. What we have in America, and have had for many decades, is a society that is dominated by the interests of big business and capital. Look back on the past 50 years of American foreign policy, from the coups we sponsered in Iran and Guetemala in 1950s, to the Viet Nam war in the 1960s and early 1970s, to our cozying up to the Saudis in the 1970s, to our illegal wars in Central America in the 1980s, to the two Gulf Wars with Iraq (the first of which was obviously preventable if we had had a show of force against Saddam before he invaded Kuwait, the second war fought on the highly dubious WMD pretext). The one constant that runs through our foriegn policy over the years is that it serves the interests of big business and the super wealthy. This has been the case for many decades, only now with the current crop of "neo-cons" it's so damm obvious and blatant that it's sickening.

CRIMES AGAINST THE NATION Re: these neo_Cons will be held accountable, what amazes me is how so many people actually believe the Lie! The question is who will act as prosecutor of the Neo-Cons? John Kerry had plenty of ammo to put these bastards away for the Iran-Contra and Iraqgate scandals, but laid down on the job. Who has the cojones to finally start to put these neo-con criminals behind bars? I doubt that Eliot Switzer would do so, if he becomes Attorney General in a Kerry administration. Just look at how Switzer took a dive when it came time to seriously attack the Wall Street criminal class. **** As far as the Lie is concerned, Bush knows what Hitler knew....
