ss, I am sorry to say this but I will say it anyway in the interest of those disenchanted Americans who are without jobs and healthcare.

Regarding the Bush-Cheney ticket we have one who is an idiot and does not know nor have control of what is going on around him, and the other one is a crook who hides in the name of national security, meets secretly with the energy lobby, plans suppressing the civil liberties etc. Yes, if the idiot balances his shortcomings with a smart guy like Guiliani, then it will give the ticket some bounce, though it will not save it. Besides, having a New Yorker on the ticket for a convention in NYC would match having someone from Mass. at the top of the ticket in the Boston convention (favorite son).
