Other than politicians who want to prove a point or those who just hate the US such as you, most understand that economics and free trade is best for all. I am not one for using the tax code to encourage policy. Where market forces are so disperate that we can't compete, we need to recognize that effort must be made to evolve into areas in which we can compete. There are many shoe factories that litter the landscape here in the NE, although conversion to clean manufacturing and condos even, has used most of these sites in a more effective and efficient manner given today's technology.
