I'm raising cash but I have some long term positions in linux, and amd/sun and thats about it. About 55% cash right now, no margin. Linux I think is in a secular growth curve and amd/sun are both cheap. I wouldn't want to be long intel here at 7x sales.

Every day I look on hotjobs for a bunch of hot tech keywords. The job market is not improving. The entire 90s were driven with tech jobs so it is very naive to assume we can lose the technology industry to india like this and recover.

"Going under 2,000 on the Nasdaq certainly has a psychological impact," said Jay Suskind, director of trading at Ryan, Beck & Co. "But obviously we're still in something of a trading range. The market is unable to move higher and it won't until we see an improvement in the employment situation in the U.S."
