I think #8 alone would suffice...but there is, of course, a timeless aspect to a rule mentioned by (or attributed to) Jesus, Hillel and Herodotus among others. Too many of your other rules have flaws or at least exceptions. For example: #4 Anger, like any other emotion, can congeal into quite meaningful and often powerful words. In fact, the whole concept of squeezing emotion out of discussion smacks of personality management in a way that I and others find offensive(!) #5 Who or what is "Negative" is a point of view that can be THE justification for debate. etc... While I'm on the topic, I am frankly amazed by the number of recent posters here who profess to dislike the political threads, claim to post only regarding finance....yet whose posting history reveals quite otherwise. I guess we all occasionally need the site administrators to save us from ourselves.
