Only if they are not followed up by actions. Its similar drivel to claim you are for the working man and accusing your opponent of being elitist - when you are actually far richer and more elitist.

If we act pro-War, but don't vote money or support for the troops -> then we are guilty of sophistry. Its similar on the butter front as well - one can decry the social welfare situation plenty - and never actually deliver on anything.

see that you are no where close to holding a moderate POV.
And the remaining remarks from the post I'm replying to

FWIW, Lieberman is a moderate. IMO, it's your perspective
that is off kilter.
