Take a Longer-Term View With Tech

I come to praise tech, not to bury it. I come to praise it because when you look at what's been winning and winning big in the S&P 500, even after this brutal selloff, it's still tech.

Let me explain -- empirically, of course. Of the top 20 performers in the S&P so far this year, nine of them are tech and telecom tech. That's the biggest preponderance. Only three of the winners are cyclicals. None of the winners is a financial, none. And pharma, both biotech and regular, represents just three entrants.
