It may be...it is supported by similar polls done by multiple sources...but they are also probably is of very little meaning. The battle has not yet truly begun. I suspect that this election will be governed by the unpredictable. I fear a scenario that gets us to the eleventh hour and still shows a Kerry lead. Eight months of campaigning is ridiculous in any race. In this one? Brace yourself. <<sigh>>

I thought of another point to make on this...I have seen this multiple times now...interviews with folks who voted for Nader last time around (robbins, maher) in which they indicated that they would not vote for him this time around. IOW, their convictions are being trumped by their determination to displace bush...now these are stubborn folks with unusually high levels of idealism. Normally polls are fickle and these may be also this early. But we have not seen this level of distaste for a candidate before. We are in uncharted waters. Anything is possible.
