Well said, Nadine! Thank you. ...The boys who are dying in Iraq now are paying the price of 20 years of retreat and gutlessless in the Middle East. If we had fought then, they wouldn't have to die now - and in all likelihood, the 3000 dead of 9/11 would still be alive too. Al Qaeda's ideology was built on the fantasy of American cowardice and decadence, a fantasy born out of our weakness and inaction. This fantasy ideology drives our enemies throughout the Muslim world, and we won't have won until the believers in it have been disillisioned AND have something better to believe in.
