I hope he doesn't mean to imply that only 100K US jobs shifted to India in total though. I can think of 100K jobs shifted to india from US software companies alone if I spend about an hour, going through the companies around here one by one. Oracle corp has 7000 developers in india for one thing. This doesn't include the support staff (but it might include QA). Headlines like this usually involve thousands of hires:

If we could stop with the denial on the part of US corps and Indian and US government officials we might be able to work out the issues in a satisfactory manner for both parties. But because there is all this underhanded dealing, people are scared. And that makes for bad policy.
