I saw the interview. My reaction was that he was menacing, and recently when I read of his menacing behavior toward Frank Rich, I'm saying it's a pattern of his.

I made a point about the very possible traumatizing forces on children taken to see "The Passion of the Christ" by their parents. Want to discuss that?

I recall he was polite but firm that his father wasn't open to discussion...

Which is precisely as it should be. Those who attack Mel Gibson by attacking his father are totally out of line.

Mel Gibson is not his father.

But he IS mandated to honor his father. Which he doesn't do by calling him a fruitcake.

So Mel keeps quiet. Which is just what a good son should do. And which should be respected.

Unless you're a liberal looking for some line to attack Mel on.
