Doubt that. Gore was an excellent candidate and had Clinton's popularity going for him.

Could be, could be not. Time will tell. I think I'll just sort of sit on the sidelines of this election campaign and lob marshmallows (nice sticky gooey ones that melt in the sun) at both candidates until one says something that I couldn't have prescripted for a modern campaign. Of course, neither will. There's not an ounce of new ideas in either one of them. So it will be more of same old same old for the next 8 months. Yawn.
