Those are fancier and schmancier names than I'm researching! Hi, both of you guys.

Dave, I tried researching my family but since they were dirt poor Irish and French Canadian and from places where recordkeeping was paltry, I reached dead ends pretty quickly. Do you know of any services whereby someone who knows what he's doing would charge a reasonable fee and do the rest of the research for me?

Great idea for a thread, BTW.
