LOL! Zbig managed to use his boss Jimmy as the fall guy...

I recall that in 1977 I actually thought that making human rights the cornerstone of a foreign policy was a strong and ambitious idea. This impression didn't last long. The Ayatollah replacing the Shah - and Danny Ortega taking over for Somosa - have lead to great upheavals and bloodshed, and were no great bonanzas for human rights.
