The entire public school system is broke. Firing from the top down would be a start. Money mismanagement is hugely to blame. Washington DC...$10,000 per student and the worst school system in America. Those teachers in the classroom that can pass a competency evaluation (many cannot) are doing their best. What we are told locally is that the schools always need more money. virginianewssource.com The unions do play a part in stopping us from firing the 4-time competency test failure losers.
