You didn't address the various tax issues I raised. I suspect you either don't understand the nuances or chose to ignore them.

As for the dividend cut, actually it's a great idea. Businesses should not be taxed twice on income.

If you follow my posts, I'm for scrapping tax benefits that really benefit the "super rich." However, Kerry will never do this because it's too much work and it involves stepping on the "super rich" toes.

Instead, he will call you and me "super rich" and tax us.

For example, do you realize that you can pretty much eliminate your tax burden with 7-10 figure charitable foundations. Do you also realize that you can pass 100's of millions to future generations with series of complicated trusts?

The ability to escape taxes by corporations and individuals using offshore shenanigans is well knows to anyone who deals in taxes.

I don't see any candidate talking about this stuff. You will talk about buzz words like the dividend cuts because it is the knee jerk response. You don't like Bush and you want to attack.

If you want to effect change, find some substance, make sure your candidate does the same.

We have a disagreement regarding how many times our many should be taxed and if dividends should be taxed as high as they are while not giving any tax relief to the corporation because it is not recognized as an expense.

So many people are in the market and they could make more...

As to FICA both the employer and the employee need relief.
People without companies do not appreciate how burdensome this tax is to the employer too. What a tremendoud annual cost added on to the other benefits.

If Kerry wants to help people he should do something about Fica, that is the tax that does the most damage.
