hi dealie- yeah - you'd think 87 years would earn you a more peaceful death, but he loved his daily walks so you could say, he died with his boots on - no lingering on in a wheelchair or anything. the feeling is he must have suffered either a stroke or heart attack which caused him to stagger into the traffic. thanks for the good wishes. -rose
