SpottedCat, <<My sorry story is that I have nothing to show now for 2004>>

I am at 0.66% gain, or 934 basis points away from my target year-end gain (ambition is chopped down as we post).

This year is hard, and will likely get more trying, tough on folks who adored last year so very much, perhaps too much.

I think the hour of reckoning is close.

I think we will soon have day after night after day of declines in equities, bonds, real estate, and even commodities, gold, and energy trusts, and we will have a USD uptick that will hand the USD shorts their head while not really allowing the USD longs to benefit much.

I think events will soon turn terrible ala "2000-2003 March".
