You know, I haven't done business with a bank in at least ten years. Maybe fifteen or twenty. I really can't remember. I'm surprised they're still in business. <g>

The new assistant bank manager discussed other options, none were good.

Municipal bonds are still paying over five percent tax free. I was surprised when I replaced my last bunch that they were still paying pretty much what they had been.
