Despite your feelings that it was inappropriate to continue here, I guess you just couldn't stay away. Me too.

Of course I have "biases". For example, I am against conservatives who claim to be moderate, but yet continue goose-stepping alongside the chicken hawks and corporate cronies. And I have no respect for jingoists who use the tragedies of 9/11 for profit and personal glory, all the while squandering the good will of our allies. Yes, I certainly dislike our leaders who through deceit and contrived events have turned the United States into the most hated nation on earth. I loath those who steal our childrens' future and despoil the environment to satiate their own desires for riches and comfort. I am upset by the those do not comprehend the mistakes and crimes of the past to which conservative of the era gave their approval and how the line runs straight from those times to our own and beyond.

I could continue...but here's what I ask of you. Instead of looking inward for objectivity, (a failed quest indeed!), try looking outwards for a world view that expands even beyond the seas that bound our shores. Perhaps then you will understand that underlying my original statement was not so much as bias, but simple statistics.

PS Like you, I also hope that mentioning a respect for Dave's wishes, while doing otherwise, will keep his most judicious hammer away...Does that make me a moderate?
