Just raising taxes will discourage investment and entrepeneurial spirit, which drives the economy.

We have very little investment in the growth areas of the economy now in the US. There is a fair amount of investment offshore. The point being that whatever supply siders say we need hasn't worked for years. The Bush people are saying that without his tax plan, we would not have had the tremendous growth we are experiencing. Well, we'd be better off without it. All the Bush economy has done is add to the poverty level and cause the country to be broke.
