Several years ago MRVC won a n award at a European trade show for their Optiswitch based EoV(DSL) product. Now if MRVC's award winning EoV(DSL) solution is an economical solution they should have a real winner. While VDSL has not done much here in the US I have often wondered about marrying VDSL with FTTC (for single family homes) and FTTP (for multi family/apartment and for high rise offices/business complex) as opposed to digging up my year to run fiber to the home or to run fiber inside the home/building. Again, I assume it is primarily a matter of economics.
