EINDHOVEN, Netherlands, March 18 (Reuters) - Dutch chip equipment maker ASML (Amsterdam:ASML.AS - News; NasdaqNM:ASML - News) is benefitting from the long-awaited market upturn and expects order intake to be especially strong in the second and fourth quarters, its chief executive said on Thursday.
"Bookings for equipment will be strong in late second quarter and the fourth quarter," Chief Executive Doug Dunn told an annual meeting of shareholders, adding that capacity of its customers would be getting tighter as the year progresses.

"I believe the upturn will last at least two years," he said.
