Yes, and we should have continued that external pressure and even intensified it, while we continued the war on Al Qaeda. By now, if we would have stayed the course and captured bin Laden, the world would be much safer from terror. Now we find ourselves in a war for which the definition of "Mission Accomplished" seems to be illusive indeed.
