Dell sales rep said Prescott was recalled in February. No Prescott orders are taken at least mid-April.

That's a pretty significant comment that someone (Mike Magee) may want to get to the bottom of.

I did notice a Prescott based PC for sale at BestBuy not long after the introduction. It was HP or Compaq, 3.0 GHz.

<edit> It may have far reaching implications for AMD </edit>

Didn't Mr. Bryant explain the larger CPU inventory at the end of Q4 as being the result of the transition to Prescott? Did anybody check the dumpsters lately?
