Guess that's my consolation prize for my bitch of a day. Had an organic chemistry exam to look forward to at 9:00AM. Went into the library at 8:45AM because the exam room wasn't open yet. Locked up my brand new $600 Giant bike. Walked out at 8:55AM and the bike was stolen. Took the exam with that on my mind (nailed it, though). Then reported the bike stolen. Found another bike for sale for cheap in need of some repair - two flats, missing brakes, etc. Bought it. Didn't have a lock - didn't think anybody would be slimy enough to take a bike in that shape. Walked out of the next class to find someone had stolen it. At least I got my SOHU short position, first 1/3, started last week at 27.97. Figured it was time. Consolation, slight, but consolation indeed. Kinda like the YHOO I got short in April 2000. Didn't make a whole lotta money off it, but man did it feel good. BC
